Iconic American Silver Eagle Design

Reverse: The reverse of this 2020-(S) American Silver Eagle features the original design that debuted on the American Silver Eagle series in 1986, which was design by numismatic legend John Mercanti. Mercanti worked at the United States Mint for a number of years and even served as Chief Engraver during the course of his career. The reverse features a Heraldic Eagle that clutches arrows in one talon, and an olive branch in the other.
